SCCON has developed into the leading event for smart cities, smart regions and e-government. More than 18,000 attendees, over 400 partners, a display area of more than 17,000 square meters and over 650 speakers on 7 stages were the impressive record.Polyteia needed a cohesive campaign for their presence at SCCON Berlin, building on their existing brand identity. The task was to apply and adapt the brand across all touchpoints — from the event booth to business cards, stickers, stencils, print collateral, and large-scale advertising in newspapers and billboards. The main challenge was ensuring consistency and recognizability across both physical and digital media, while making the brand stand out in a busy, high-profile event environment.

We designed a minimal, playful campaign that highlighted Polyteia’s mission to simplify everyday work in public administrations. The concept centered on typography and four core slogans, each tailored to different formats and materials. Using experimental typography (shredded text) and references to the current politics, we added fun puns and interactive touches — like floor stencils — to make the brand memorable, engaging, and font-focused across booth, print, and digital assets.

✧ Results

The campaign boosted Polyteia’s visibility, generating leads and newspaper coverage while creating a memorable event presence. I learned how to unify humor, minimalism, and cross-channel design, and would explore more interactive digital elements to further engage audiences in future campaigns.
